La La La..We started with mental math today..of course!

When is the magnitude of two added vectors exactly double the magnitude of each of them? (Assume their magnitudes are the same)...WHAT THE HECK!! haha, this question troubled me..and it seemed like it troubled a few of you. Mr.Max's answer was---> This only happens when they are going the same direction. Not to hard once he explains it, what a LOL moment.



Anywho moving on from the mental math portion of the day, we checked out the answers for the driveway question. It seemed that quite a few people were off a bit, but alot of people had the right idea.



ANSWERS(all answers are rounded for buying purposes)

Method 1

*Cost of Excavation=$5,280.00

*Cost of Gravel=$792.00

*Cost of concrete=$2,860.00

Total Cost = $8,932.00



Method 2

*Cost of Excavation=$5,940.00

*Cost of Sand=$80.00

*Cost of Limestone=$990.00

*Cost of Paving Stones=$4,371.75

------------------------------------------------

Total Cost=$11,381.75



This question had alot of figuring out to do, and there were quite a few interesting moments(cough cough nicole cough cough) =), but we all pulled through.

**Interuption- Doppelganger: a ghostly double of a living person that haunts its living counterpart.



We now have been assigned a previous exam question that is due for Friday. It is on a fish tank...Mr.Max helped to create it.
