Today, September 17, 2008, we began class with mental math. A great way to get your brain working.


Next Mr. Max gave a Quote :

Omnipotent means having very great or unlimited authority or power.

Then Mr. Max went over Exercise 6: Transition Matrices (#3). Here are the notes for that question:

For (c) take Matrix A and multiply it by Matrix B to get Matrix C.
Take that Matrix C and multiply it by Matrix B to get Matrix D.
Then take Matrix D and multiply it by Matrix B to finally get Matrix E (the answer).


Last but not least Mr. Max went over how to Test for Stability.

Question: How do you know how big of a number to use?
Answer: Trial and Error
