Monday January 12th- Periodic Functions

Today in class we started a new unit called periodic functions. We will be doing this unit today, tommorow and wednesday. Then we will be starting personal finance on thursday and friday.
For this unit graphmatica or your calculater can be used. If you are using graphmatica remember that you can change your grid range by clicking view, then grid range, and then adjusting it to you liking. Also you can change your graphpaper style by going to view, graphpaper, then to trig or rectangular. Trig will give you the pi amounts.

Binomial Distributions

Well, today is the first school day in the new year. Happy New Year!! There will not be any more mental math for the rest of the semester. We started into Binomial Distributions today, with Confidence Intervals being done tomorrow.

Here are the notes for today:
The other formula you need to know is this
standard deviation = square root of number of items times probability of success, times probability of failure

Remember Stats test Thursday, and the 12 questions in the handout are being homework checked tomorrow
